That’s not a dog! Occasionally we see cats come in to the ARL’s Animal House store, sometimes in their carrier, and sometimes on a harness! Harlow is one of those kitties who doesn’t mind wearing a harness OR a cheerleading outfit!
Harlow came to the ARL from one of the Des Moines hoarding situations at the end of April 2019, and was only a month old when rescued. She, her sister, and her mom were some of the lucky ones who made it out of the horrible conditions, were able to be nursed back to health, and were adopted. Her mom and her sister were even adopted to the same family, so they’ll be able to live together forever in a happy, healthy home. Harlow now lives with 3 other cat sisters, and has a great time wrestling and running around with them at all hours of the day…and night.
Harlow comes into the ARL’s Animal House store occasionally to watch over the store and greet people, as well as show off some of the great outfits the ARL has for your pets. Check out the football tag for more great pet items for this football season.
She also has a shared Instagram account with her cat siblings, Kiki, Mango, and Poppy, which you can check out and follow at Instagram.com/kiki_mango. You can see more pictures of her as she grows up, like the image below.
